Effect of magnesium on prevention of headache due to spinal anesthesia in cesarean delivery
This randomized controlled trial showed that 300 milligrams of oral magnesium taken 2 hours before cesarean delivery reduced the frequency of anesthesia-related headaches in women who received dural puncture. However, magnesium use did not reduce pain in these participants.
